of all areas of the veterinary hospital and are able to provide
assistance to the entire veterinary health care team. The
demand for trained veterinary assistants is expected to increase at
least 10% in the near future.

Comprehensive Course
The Mountain Edge program provides students with a strong and rewarding education in veterinary assisting. As a student, you will learn skills needed to become and essential part of the veterinary medical team.
You will experience classroom instruction, online instruction, and hands-on laboratory procedures.
You will have the opportunity to work with large, small, and exotic animals. Mountain Edge will
provide you with an extensive background working with an extensive background working with
a variety of species in clinical situations. You will complete 150 hours of externship at a veterinary clinic.
This is an eight month course that is taught two evenings week. Monthly payments plans may be arranged for this course. Please indicate that you wish to pay on a monthly basis on the application form and we will get back to you with terms and conditions.
